1. Scope of services

The court producer delivers and installs all elements of the squash court with the exception of the ventilation, heating and air conditioning.

2. Approval
All single elements of the squash court like court walls, glass walls, flooring, tin and lighting have to be approved and certified by the World Squash Federation (WSF).

Furthermore the producer of the squash court elements has to have the Complete Court Accreditation (CCA) of the World Squash Federation (WSF).


3. Warranty
The producer guarantees that the delivery and services are not afflicted with defects. The warranty period is 10 years for the walls, 2 years for LED lighting and 5 years for the other elements. No warranty period will be assumed on breakage of glass and line markings of squash courts. Normal wear and tear is excluded from liability of defects.

4. Templates
1. Data sheets of the different squash court elements.
2. Installation and operating instructions.
3. Installation plans for assembly and installation of the individual squash court elements. The plans have to contain all construction requirements like material entrance dimensions, mounting details etc.

5. Installation
1. A qualified installation team approved by the manufacturer is required for the court installation. Experience with similar installation projects is required.
2. The room temperature during the installation is best between 14°and 35°Celsius.

6. Elements
System Frontwall
The front wall is  94mm thick consisting of two 21mm thick RS special high density boards attached to steel C-profiles. The finished wall elements are pre-coated by the factory with primer and a 1 coat of high performance colour.
The final 2 coats is a special CourtTech Squash Court colour – RAL 9001 applied on site. Finally the System Wall is filled with 2.5 tons of kiln dried quartz sand. The wall is flat, free of  joints and perfectly level.
System Side Wall
The system side wall is 94mm thick consisting of two 21mm thick RS special high density boards attached to steel C-profiles. The self supporting System Side Wall is fixed to the floor with two steel plates. The finished wall elements are pre-coated by the factory with primer and a 1 coat of high performance colour.
The final 2 coats is a special CourtTech Squash Court colour – RAL 9001 applied on site. Finally the System Wall is filled with 2.5tons of kiln dried quartz sand. The wall is flat, free of  joints and perfectly level. The out-of-play lines are red powder coated aluminium profiles – RAL 3001.
Moveable Side Wall
The Moveable Side Wall is  94mm thick consisting of two 21mm thick RS special high density boards attached to steel C-profiles. The wall is suspended on two rails which are fixed above the glass back wall and the front wall. The finished wall elements are pre-coated by the factory with primer and a 1 coat of high performance colour.
The final 2 coats is a special CourtTech Squash Court colour – RAL 9001 applied on site. Finally the System The movable side wall is filled with lighter kiln dried quartz sand than used for static walls. The wall is flat, free of  joints and perfectly level.
The out-of-play lines are red powder coated aluminium profiles – RAL 3001. Moving the side wall can be done manually by two people.

Half System Front Wall
The Half System Front Wall consists of  one 21mm thick RS special high density board, fixed to the existing  building wall, with the help of special metal brackets. The CourtTech Half System Front Wall is 40mm  thick. The finished wall elements are pre-coated by the factory with primer and a 1 coat of high performance colour. The final 2 coats is a special CourtTech Squash Court colour – RAL 9001 applied on site.
Finally, the gap between the existing building wall and the Half System Front Wall is filled with 1 ton of kiln dried quartz sand. The wall is flat, free of  joints and perfectly level.

Half System Side Wall
The Half System Side Wall consists of  one 21mm thick RS special high density board, fixed to the existing  building wall, with the help of special metal brackets. The CourtTech Half System Side Wall is 40mm  thick. The finished wall elements are pre-coated by the factory with primer and a 1 coat of high performance colour. The final 2 coats is a special CourtTech Squash Court colour – RAL 9001 applied on site.
Finally, the gap between the existing building wall and the Half System Side Wall is filled with 1ton of kiln dried quartz sand. The out-of-play lines are red powder coated aluminium profiles – RAL 3001.

Height Adjustable Tin
The tin is height adjustable from the standard height of 480mm to 430mm (from finished floor level).  The tin is made of 21mm thick high density boards, coated 2 times and split in two panels, each 3195mm long. The upper edge of the tin is red powder coated aluminium profile: RAL 3001

Nets above the Front, Side and Back Walls
The nets are made of 3 mm UV resistant polypropylene yarn with a mesh width of approximately 20mm. Every 100mm the net is fixed by a hook and stretched with a 6mm steel cable at 6m from floor level. The height is adjustable.

Headers over Front, Side and Back Walls
The headers are made of 21mm thick high density boards, coated twice. They form the completion from the upper edge of the court walls to the lower edge of the ceiling.

Frame Glass Back Wall
The wall elements and the door of the glass back wall are 12mm thick safety glass with white 3mm ceramic lines 620mm high, bonded into the glass. The door opening width is 914mm (minimum dimension of disabled access). The glass panels are supported by an aluminium frame. The glass door is fixed with hinges on the aluminium construction and opens to the inside of the court.

Fin Glass Back Wall
The wall elements and the door of the finned glass back wall are 12mm thick safety glass with white 3mm ceramic lines 620mm high, bonded into the glass. The door opening width is 914mm (minimum dimension of disabled access). The glass panels are stabilised by glass fins with a length of 300mm and a height of  2130mm, mounted in a 90 degree angle. The glass door is fixed on the glass wall with hinges and opens to the inside of the court.

Sylva Squash Sport Floor
The Junckers Sylva Squash Sport Floor consists of 22mm solid European Beech timber floor boards assembled in 2 rows glued together in dovetail construction. The boards are end matched with tongue and groove construction on elastic subfloor and prefabricated engineered timber battens. The Sports Floor has elastic characteristics for high shock absorbency and protection against injury and is suitable for multi-purpose sports halls as well as squash courts.
The construction height is 80mm. The sports floor system conforms to the European Standard EN 14904:2006.

LED Lighting
The LED Lighting consists of ten silver anodised aluminium lights with a PU lampshade. The lighting system has a luminous intensity of 500 lux, +/- 15%, measured one meter above finished floor level. The lights must be impact-resistant in order to avoid damage caused by squash balls. Light colour: 5000K (neutral white), colour reproduction: CRI>80
